It has already become a good tradition to hold the annual Drupal Conference in Ukraine. This year, it took place on the 7-8th of June and was held in the Tourist hotel, Kiev. Our DRUPALOUTSOURCING.com team was pleased to participate in the conference. Such unusual and well-organized events enable Drupal professionals to find new friends, exchange experiences in the field of Drupal website creation, and simply spend a good time among colleagues.
This conference has gathered about 200 Drupal developers from all over Ukraine. No less pleasant was the fact that the teams from other countries, namely, Belorussia and Ireland, also joined our event. We have seen regional representatives of French companies. We could hardly conceal our positive emotions, since we had a unique opportunity to communicate with colleagues from Ukraine and Drupal developers from other countries.
It is great that many renowned companies decided to support and sponsor Drupalcamp 2013. Among others, we were honored to see our golden sponsors, such as Microsoft, Adyax, and ItPatrol. Some developers took the initiative and became individual sponsors of the event. They did it for pleasure and as a means to advertise their services. Overall, sponsorship allowed us to hold the event at the highest level of proficiency and make a positive impression on our foreign colleagues.
The conference programs were interesting and rich in events and information. At first, all guests participated in the Camp opening procedure, when sponsors and guests of honor were introduced to the public. Later, a series of conferences were held, during which the participants shared their Drupal website development experiences with each other. The speakers raised different questions, from server design and website optimization to pricing principles under conditions of modern competition, etc.
In general, we were very satisfied with the content and organization of the event. We hope to preserve a good tradition of gathering Drupal developers from around the globe. We also hope to see more guests in the coming years.
